Frequently Asked Questions About El Dorado Hills CPR Classes
Q: What days and times is In Home CPR available to come to my business or home in El Dorado Hills?
A: We are available seven days a week, including evenings to teach an El Dorado Hills CPR certification class at your home or business. Our instructors are all medical professionals who have real-life experience responding to medical emergencies.
Q: What are the qualifications of the instructors who will be coming to my El Dorado Hills home or business for my CPR class?
A: All of our instructors are medical professionals. Most have worked professionally in ambulances as EMTs and Paramedics. We also have RNs. All of them take pride in the quality of their El Dorado Hills First Aid, CPR and BLS classes. Our classes are interactive and questions are encouraged, so ask our instructors to give you extra knowledge on the First Aid and CPR topics most important to you.
Q: What is covered in an El Dorado Hills First Aid training class at my business or home?
A: First Aid training covers bleeding, burns, bites, falls, concussions, allergic reactions and how to use an epi-pen, recognizing strokes and heart attacks, heat and cold emergencies, diabetes, asthma, broken bones and responding to choking. Our instruction style for El Dorado Hills First Aid certificate classes is very interactive, so always let us know what topics are important to you and our instructor will spend extra time during your class covering them.
Q: How long is an El Dorado Hills American Heart Association BLS certification valid for?
A: All AHA BLS certification cards for El Dorado Hills last for two years. There are two different ways you can take a BLS renewal certification class. 1) We can come to your office or home and instruct the entire BLS class. 2) You can do some of the BLS course online ahead of time. Then our instructor comes to you for a BLS “skills session” – the hands-on portion of the class: practicing with the CPR manikins and other BLS training supplies. Both approaches result in the American Heart Association BLS certification. You will receive your BLS certification card the day of your class.
Q: Is there a minimum of people needed to schedule an infant CPR class at my El Dorado Hills home?
A: There is no minimum number of people needed to schedule an infant CPR class with us. Your baby can be present during class, too. We’re available seven days a week to come to you, including evenings. All of our instructors are medical professionals such as Paramedics and EMTs.
Q: I run a licensed childcare facility in El Dorado Hills and need my staff trained. What is the correct class for us?
A: Childcare teachers are required to have a Pediatric First Aid & CPR certification in El Dorado Hills. We offer the American Red Cross class because it fulfills the licensing requirements of the EMSA – the agency that regulates childcare facilities in California.
Q: I’m not sure which certification I need! Can you help me?
A: Absolutely! We know the First Aid, BLS, CPR, and ACLS requirements for all industries in El Dorado Hills. It’s our job to make sure you receive the right certification so you’re in compliance with your industry requirements. We know OSHA, EMSA, and hospital requirements. Feel free to contact us and we’re more than happy to work with you to make sure you’re taking the correct certification class.
Q: My last CPR class was so boring! Please tell me your classes aren’t like that!
A: All of our instructors take pride in the quality of their El Dorado Hills CPR, BLS and First Aid classes. They’re all EMTs, RNs, and Paramedics, so all of them have taken many classes over the years. They know just how agonizing it is to sit through a poorly taught CPR class. They strive to interact with you and encourage you to ask questions about the topics that are particularly important to you. Whether it’s seizures, asthma, high blood pressure, diabetes or just recognizing when to call 911, our instructors will give you a depth of understanding you likely haven’t received in a class before.
Q: What topics are covered in an El Dorado Hills CPR certification class?
A: El Dorado Hills CPR training classes are more than just learning CPR. First, you learn to assess a person who needs help and determine if they need CPR. CPR training includes how to do CPR for adults, children and infants. However, you can exclude particular age groups from your CPR training. For example, if the required CPR certification you need only applies to training in adult CPR, you can choose to skip pediatric CPR. The class also includes training to respond to choking and training to use an AED – an Automated External defibrillator.
