Testimonials

In Home CPR wants to thank these customers who sent us emails sharing their experiences after taking a class.

My family had the pleasure of having Chris teach us a class that in my opinion is not an option if you choose to have children — it’s mandatory. I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter, and my husband and I have taken other CPR classes. We never felt quite secure with ourselves if an emergency situation occurred. After the class with Chris, we felt so much better! Our personal questions were answered in our home. I never imagined a choking/CPR class could be personalized for our family! It really put me at ease.
Chris has an amazing way of speaking in a way that is easy to grasp. And, unlike other classes, you don’t have 40+ people asking questions. You have him all to yourself to ask all the questions you feel will help you in an emergency. Chris also provided state of the art equipment to help aid in demonstration, none that I had seen before.
Parents, I urge you to seek out Chris for this priceless class — it’s so well worth it!

As an independent businesswoman, it was refreshing to work with someone who believes as I do: that punctuality, professionalism, kindness, and good customer relations are worthy goals to achieve. And Chris certainly achieved them. When I first contacted him, I was struck by his kindness and his professionalism. He treated my questions and concerns with aplomb. He called to remind me of our appointment, a much appreciated act, as it shows the attention to detail that I admire. And, finally, while giving the course, he kindly yet thoroughly covered the material, and ensured that I understood it, both in theory and in practice. In short, Chris was a treasure to work with, and I look forward to next year when I can work with him again.

I have been in practice for over 25 years, so I have had instruction in BLS many times and Chris is by far the best instructor ever. He explained everything in a clear concise manner, making the new changes easy to understand and remember. He arrived on time, he stayed on track and before we knew it the review was over and we actually had fun!

I recently completed a CPR class with Chris, and I urge anyone who is interested in taking a CPR class to take Chris’s class; you’ll be happy you did. Chris is a natural teacher, and he has an easy going and very likable personality. The information is presented in a way that is very interesting and easy to understand. Very rarely do I feel compelled to write a review about something or someone; it either has to just plain awful or exceptional. Trust me when I say that Chris falls in the exceptional category, and if you need to take a CPR class, look no further than Chris’s. He really is that good.

Thanks again Chris for a great class. Here is a story for you:

I came home that same evening of the class and had dinner with my 2 kids and my sister in law. We were eating, when my sister in law started choking on a piece of broccoli. I was surprised at how calmly I reacted, immediately went to put my arm under her arms and gave her back a pop. After two pops, the broccoli came flying out and my dog ate it in mid air. She went from panic to laughing within seconds, as did I — thinking I just took your course just hours before.

Chris was extremely knowledgeable of the material covered and made the concepts easy to grasp. For instance, we covered both the American Heart Association’s and the Red Cross’ methods and theories on helping a choking victim, and he used his practical experience to explain how those theories play out in practice. It was also refreshing to cover the material in the comfort of our studio, with such a small class (two people!) This allowed Chris to tailor his instruction to our needs, extending time on material that we needed more practice on and reviewing material that we had mastered quickly. His traveling to us also allowed us to ask questions, something he strongly encouraged, and again, his knowledge shone forth in the answers. I would not hesitate to recommend Chris coming out to your site for comprehensive CPR and AED training.

I thoroughly enjoyed the CPR class that Chris presented in my home. It was informative, easy and very convenient. I also had a friend come and take the class with me, which made the price the same as if we took a class at the community center.

I was immediately able to put into practice what I learned the following week when I started to choke. I headed out of the room and remembered what he told me, which was to not go somewhere where no one would know you are in trouble. I stayed in the room and had my husband help me instead of trying to do it all by myself.

Chris has a great personality, gentle yet in charge. I highly recommend taking Chris’ in home classes as the personal attention is well worth it. Plus, the course takes half the time it takes with a big group class. The one-on-one attention allowed me to ask questions at the moment they came up for me, and I know that I would not have been able to ask them in a large group setting.

I would use him again for my re-certification needs and highly recommend him for anyone that wants to know what to do in case of an emergency. I feel confident now that I could be of help to someone if need be… especially a loved one. Thank you Chris for being such a good instructor. It’s such a great idea to learn this valuable information in the comfort of one’s own home.

Is there anything more important to learn than how to save another person’s life?  But how many of us fast-track, Bay Area residents find the time to locate a CPR class that fits into our crazy schedules, sign up, then drive to the class location and take the training?  Chris Schlesinger’s in-home CPR training circumvents all the hassle and provides easy-to-learn instruction at YOUR convenience.  Chris is a great teacher–extremely knowledgeable, thorough, patient and makes the class fun.  He brings his whole classroom right to your house and teaches the most current, up-to-date techniques including how to administer CPR to children and infants.  For our class, we invited friends to join us and had a blast all learning together.  My advice is, don’t put off learning today what could save the life of someone you love tomorrow.  Call Chris now and schedule your own in-home CPR training!

It was a pleasure to have Chris come and teach CPR to our office staff (a chiropractor, a nutritionist and two acupuncturists.) Chris is an excellent teacher. He is very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. We all learned a very valuable skill and had a lot of fun at the same time!

I really enjoyed Chris’ CPR training class. It was so fun and instructive. He is so personable, thorough and easily understood. He has a wonderful flexibility about him that makes you feel comfortable when asking questions.  And, since I’m a grandma, I’m so glad I received the child and infant CPR training, too. Being able to take the class in a home setting was so relaxing and convenient. I highly recommend Chris’ CPR training.

Chris was great.  I wish they would have told us about him in our pre-natal classes.   My wife and I were struggling to coordinate our schedules and attend a CPR class when we found Chris.  He came to our home and gave us a great overview of CPR techniques while focusing on our main concern, infant CPR. Chris was on time, very respectful of our home, efficient, a great teacher, and soooo convenient.  I will totally recommend Chris to anyone I know that is looking to take a CPR course.
