Frequently Asked Questions About Fairfield CPR Classes

Q: What days and times is In Home CPR available to come to my business or home in Fairfield?

A: We are available seven days a week, including evenings to teach a Fairfield CPR certification class at your home or business. Our instructors are all medical professionals who have real-life experience responding to medical emergencies.

Q: I want First Aid training and also want to get a certification at my Fairfield business or home.  Can I do that?

A: Yes, we teach ASHI and American Red Cross First Aid certification courses in Fairfield. People often think CPR and First Aid are the same things, but they aren’t. 1st aid training covers many of the everyday medical issues we all deal with: burns, bleeding, falls, asthma, fainting – as well as topics like stroke, seizures and heart attacks. Everyone should take a first aid class because these are medical issues you’re most likely to encounter.

Q: I’ve been told I need to take a “BLS” class for my Fairfield job. What does that mean?

A: BLS stands for Basic Life Support. Everyone who works in healthcare is required to have a BLS Provider CPR certification for Fairfield. Hospitals and clinics in California almost all require an American Heart Association BLS certification for employees, not the Red Cross BLS certification.  People who work in EMS (Emergency Medical Services) can usually do either organization’s BLS certification. We know choosing the right certification class can be confusing, so if you’re not sure, just ask us!

Q: I want to take an infant CPR class with my entire family at my home in Fairfield. Is that possible?

A: Yes, that’s what we specialize in! Everyone who will be caring for your baby can train together to respond to the most common pediatric medical emergencies: choking, drowning, suffocation, allergic reactions, seizures and many more topics.

Q: We need a First Aid class in Fairfield for our preschool. How do we make sure we’re fulfilling our licensing requirements?

A: We will make sure you’re getting the correct First Aid certification class for your daycare or preschool. We know the EMSA’s requirements for you. We instruct American Red Cross Pediatric First Aid CPR AED certification classes in Fairfield because it’s their preferred certification.

Q: My last CPR class was so boring! Please tell me your classes aren’t like that!

A: All of our instructors take pride in the quality of their Fairfield CPR, BLS and First Aid classes. They’re all EMTs, RNs and Paramedics, so all of them have taken many classes over the years. They know just how agonizing it is to sit through a poorly taught CPR class. They strive to interact with you and encourage you to ask the questions about the topics that are particularly important to you. Whether it’s seizures, asthma, high blood pressure, diabetes or just recognizing when to call 911, our instructors will give you a depth of understanding you likely haven’t received in a class before.

Q: Do you sell AEDs to your Fairfield clients?

A: Yes.  We offer discounted prices on AEDs and AEDs accessories for our First Aid, BLS and ACLS and CPR Fairfield class clients. More and more businesses are purchasing AEDs because the manufacturing costs have dropped. Feel free to ask us about buying an AED.

Q: What is the minimum number of people needed to set up a Fairfield CPR class at my business or home?

A: There is no minimum number of people needed to set up a First Aid, BLS or CPR class in Fairfield with us. The more people you have, the less it will cost per person. We can handle classes of up to about 100 people.

My family had the pleasure of having Chris teach us a class that, in my opinion, is not an option if you choose to have children – it’s mandatory.

Lori Costabile

I recently completed a CPR class with Chris, and I urge anyone who is interested in taking a CPR class to take Chris’ class; you’ll be happy you did. Chris is a natural teacher, and he has an easy going and very likable personality.
