CPR AED Class

Carmichael CPR AED classes are a two-year ASHI certification course taught at your home or business. This course is for non-medical professionals who need a CPR certification such as personal trainers, athletic coaches and school teachers.

BLS for Healthcare Providers

American Heart Association BLS certifications in Carmichael are the certifications needed for anyone working in healthcare. This class used to be called BLS for Healthcare Providers. “Healthcare” was dropped from the name recently.

First Aid Class

First Aid CPR AED Classes

Pediatric First Aid AED CPR Class

Pediatric first aid CPR AED certification classes for Carmichael meet the EMSA’s requirements for licensed childcare providers in California. Choking, allergic reactions, epi-pen use, concussions, seizures and many other topics are covered in this Red Cross certification course.

ACLS Class

American Heart Association ACLS certifications in Carmichael are easy to schedule with us. Blended learning approaches – most of the ACLS certification course online, followed by a “skills session” with our instructor is a great approach for ACLS recertification.

Frequently Asked Questions About Carmichael CPR Classes

Q: What days and times is In Home CPR available to come to my business or home in Carmichael?

A: We are available seven days a week, including evenings to teach a Carmichael CPR certification class at your home or business. Our instructors are all medical professionals who have real-life experience responding to medical emergencies.

Q: Our group in Carmichael needs CPR certifications, but we also need First Aid certifications. Can we get both certifications in the same class?

A: Yes, your group can take an American Red Cross or ASHI First Aid CPR AED certification class in Carmichael. It’s a single certification. All of the First Aid and CPR material can be covered during a single session with our instructors. These classes are typically 4 to 5 hours in length and result in a two-year certification card. You can also do most of the course online ahead of time, followed by a “skills session” with our instructors – the hands-on practice portion of the course. The skills session is typically 1 to 2 hours. Both approaches result in the same Carmichael First Aid CPR AED certification.

Q: I’ve been told I need to take a “BLS” class for my Carmichael job. What does that mean?

A: BLS stands for Basic Life Support. Everyone who works in healthcare is required to have a BLS Provider CPR certification for Carmichael. Hospitals and clinics in California almost all require an American Heart Association BLS certification for employees, not the Red Cross BLS certification.  People who work in EMS (Emergency Medical Services) can usually do either organization’s BLS certification. We know choosing the right certification class can be confusing, so if you’re not sure, just ask us!

Q: I want an infant CPR class for my family. Do you bring the infant manikins to my Carmichael home?

A: Yes, our instructor will bring all of the training equipment, including infant CPR manikins that provide real-time electronic feedback. You only need to provide a space to have our class. It’s an interactive class; questions are encouraged. Your instructor will be a medical professional.

Q: What is the EMSA required certification for my Carmichael childcare staff?

A: We instruct American Red Cross Pediatric First Aid CPR AED courses for state licensed daycare, preschool and childcare centers. This, along with the American Heart Association’s certification, are the EMSA’s referred Pediatric First Aid CPR AED certifications for Carmichael.

Q: Are you now issuing eCards for CPR certifications in Carmichael?

A: Yes, eCards are now replacing the traditional paper CPR certification cards in Carmichael. It’s a much better approach in our opinion. Over the years we have replaced hundreds of lost or destroyed CPR cards. With eCards you always have access to your AHA, Red Cross or ASHI First Aid and CPR certification. Your certification can be printed like a traditional paper card or it can be downloaded as a PDF file. You can email your CPR card to whomever needs to verify your certification.

Q: My last CPR class was so boring! Please tell me your classes aren’t like that!

A: All of our instructors take pride in the quality of their Carmichael CPR, BLS and First Aid classes. They’re all EMTs, RNs and Paramedics, so all of them have taken many classes over the years. They know just how agonizing it is to sit through a poorly taught CPR class. They strive to interact with you and encourage you to ask the questions about the topics that are particularly important to you. Whether it’s seizures, asthma, high blood pressure, diabetes or just recognizing when to call 911, our instructors will give you a depth of understanding you likely haven’t received in a class before.

Q: Can I do my CPR class entirely on-line?

A: If you need your certification to meet a job requirement, the answer is very likely no. There are numerous on-line advertisements for on-line only CPR classes. We frequently get calls from people who took an online-class, submitted it to their Carmichael company supervisor and were told the certification does not meet their requirements. OSHA, the EMSA and other organizations that make sure industries are meeting safety requirements are very clear individuals need to practice CPR, BLS and First Aid skills in Carmichael as part of their certification.

My family had the pleasure of having Chris teach us a class that, in my opinion, is not an option if you choose to have children – it’s mandatory.

Lori Costabile

I recently completed a CPR class with Chris, and I urge anyone who is interested in taking a CPR class to take Chris’ class; you’ll be happy you did. Chris is a natural teacher, and he has an easy going and very likable personality.
