A: Contact us if you’re ready to schedule a CPR, BLS or First Aid class at Woodland business or home or if you have questions about what class you need. We teach ASHI and American Red Cross Certification classes for CPR AED, First Aid and Pediatric First Aid. We also instruct American Heart Association certification classes for healthcare professionals: BLS for Healthcare Providers and ACLS. We also teach non-certification infant CPR and First Aid classes for new and expecting parents. In short, we bring all of the training and audio/visual equipment to your location – you just need to provide a room for our class. If you know which class you need, contact us with a couple dates and start times that work for your group. We have many mobile instructors, so we will find a day/start time that works for both of us.

Q: Does In Home CPR really come to my home or business to teach a class in Woodland? Do I need to provide any resources to make this happen?

A: Our instructor will bring all of the CPR and First Aid training and audio/visual equipment to your Woodland home or business. You only need to provide a space for our class.

Q: Do you teach First Aid Training in Woodland?

A: Yes, we offer American Red Cross First Aid and ASHI certification classes in Woodland. People know they should take a CPR class, but first aid training is often overlooked. Eventually, all of us either experience or respond to bleeding, burns, falls and broken bones. It’s good to know how to properly respond when a loved one needs your help or you need to help yourself.

Q: What skills are taught in an Woodland American Heart Association BLS class?

A: Unlike a CPR class for the public, a BLS class is geared for medical professionals that may have access to additional equipment and trained personnel. Skills include: adult, child and infant CPR. 1 person, 2 person and group responses are practiced, use of an AED – automated external defibrillator, using a BVM – bag-value-mask, advanced airways, responses to choking and opioid emergencies. Anyone can take an AHA BLS certification course in Woodland.

Q: Do you teach infant CPR classes at Woodland homes?

A: Yes, we do. We also teach them at hospitals like California Pacific Medical Center. A: Infants are defined as one-year-old and under in a First Aid & CPR class. A child Is one-year-old up to puberty. Q: I understand First Aid training for a certification in Woodland has to cover required topics. But can your instructor cover First Aid topics that might not be part of the course?

A: When we instruct an ASHI, Red Cross or American Heart Association certification course, we are required to instruct the course according to the guidelines of those organizations. However, our approach to First Aid training and CPR training in Woodland is to be very interactive with our students. We encourage our students to ask questions and if you ask about a topic not covered in your course, we are happy to cover it. Also, because we are EMTs, RNs and Paramedics we can give you a depth of understanding on any topic that goes beyond the First Aid training and CPR training of your certification course.

My family had the pleasure of having Chris teach us a class that, in my opinion, is not an option if you choose to have children – it’s mandatory.

I recently completed a CPR class with Chris, and I urge anyone who is interested in taking a CPR class to take Chris’ class; you’ll be happy you did. Chris is a natural teacher, and he has an easy going and very likable personality.
