Schedule A CPR, First Aid or BLS Certification Class At Your Saratoga Business Or Home

Since 2010, In Home CPR has been coming to Saratoga businesses and homes to teach CPR, First Aid and BLS certification classes.

We are available seven days a week, including evenings to come to you.  There is no minimum number of students needed to schedule a class with us.

CPR Essentials

The Saratoga CPR Essentials Class is an infant and/or toddler-focused class customized for new and expecting parents, grandparents, nannies, and other family members. You will learn to respond to infant airway emergencies such as choking, allergic reactions, drowning, seizures, as well as learn to do CPR.

CPR AED Class

Saratoga CPR AED classes are a two-year ASHI certification course taught at your business or home. You can schedule to complete the entire course with our instructor or do some of the class online ahead of time, followed by our instructor coming to you for a short skills practice session.

BLS for Healthcare Providers

Saratoga BLS certification classes are the required CPR certification for people who work in healthcare and for healthcare students. American Heart Association BLS certifications are often the required BLS certification for healthcare professionals working in hospitals and clinics in Saratoga.

First Aid Class

Saratoga First Aid classes are for non-medical professionals who need a First Aid certification. Certifications are from ASHI, meeting OSHA requirements and are valid for two years.

First Aid CPR AED Classes

Saratoga ASHI First Aid CPR AED certification classes are a preferred First Aid CPR AED certification by OSHA. First Aid classes cover topics such as heart attack, stroke, diabetic emergencies, low blood sugar, fainting, concussions, bleeding, burns and many other common topics.

Pediatric First Aid AED CPR Class

Licensed childcare teachers require a pediatric first aid CPR certification for Saratoga that fulfills the EMSA’s licensing. We offer the American Red Cross’ certification so you’re in compliance!

ACLS Class

American Heart Association ACLS certifications in Saratoga are easy to schedule with us. Blended learning approaches – most of the ACLS certification course online, followed by a “skills session” with our instructor is a great approach for ACLS recertification.

Frequently Asked Questions About Saratoga CPR Classes

Q: What are the qualifications of the instructors who will be coming to my Saratoga home or business for my CPR class?

A: All of our instructors are medical professionals. Most have worked professionally in ambulances as EMTs and Paramedics. We also have RNs. All of them take pride in the quality of their Saratoga First Aid, CPR and BLS classes. Our classes are interactive and questions are encouraged, so ask our instructors to give you extra knowledge on the First Aid and CPR topics most important to you.

Q: What is a Saratoga In Home CPR class? Do you also come to businesses in Saratoga?

A: Our company was started with the idea of making it more convenient for people in Saratoga to take a CPR, First Aid, BLS or ACLS class. Our instructors are all EMTs, Paramedics and RNs who will bring all of the training equipment to you for your class. You just need to provide a space for your class. Outdoor classes are fine, too.

Q: I want First Aid training and also want to get a certification at my Saratoga business or home.  Can I do that?

A: Yes, we teach ASHI and American Red Cross First Aid certification courses in Saratoga. People often think CPR and First Aid are the same things, but they aren’t. 1st aid training covers many of the everyday medical issues we all deal with: burns, bleeding, falls, asthma, fainting – as well as topics like stroke, seizures and heart attacks. Everyone should take a first aid class because these are medical issues you’re most likely to encounter.

Q: I’ve heard there is a particular CPR certification requirement for healthcare professionals in Saratoga. What is that certification?

A: If you work in healthcare you need a different CPR certification than what people in non-medical jobs need. We instruct the American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR certification for Saratoga. Clinics and hospitals in California follow AHA guidelines, so they usually require the AHA’s BLS certification.  If you work in EMS (EMT, Paramedic) the Red Cross’ BLS certification is usually accepted as well.

Q: Is there a minimum of people needed to schedule an Saratoga infant CPR class at my home?

A: There is no minimum number of people needed to schedule an infant CPR class with us. Your baby can be present during class, too. We’re available seven days a week to come to you, including evenings. All of our instructors are medical professionals such as Paramedics and EMTs.

Q: Do babysitters and nannies need the same Saratoga Pediatric First Aid & CPR certification as childcare and preschool teachers?

A: They do not. Babysitters and nannies are not regulated by the EMSA – the agency that requires First Aid & CPR AED certifications for licensed childcare facilities in Saratoga. However, many parents like the idea that the person caring for their infant, toddler or child has CPR and First Aid training. So if you are coming to homes to take care of children, it could improve your chance of being hired if you can show a First Aid & CPR certification.

Q: Are you now issuing eCards for CPR certifications in Saratoga?

A: Yes, eCards are now replacing the traditional paper CPR certification cards in Saratoga. It’s a much better approach in our opinion. Over the years we have replaced hundreds of lost or destroyed CPR cards. With eCards you always have access to your AHA, Red Cross or ASHI First Aid and CPR certification. Your certification can be printed like a traditional paper card or it can be downloaded as a PDF file. You can email your CPR card to whomever needs to verify your certification.

Q: Do you know the Saratoga CPR certification and First Aid class requirements for my industry?

A: Yes, we view part of our job to know the First Aid and CPR AED certification requirements for Saratoga industries. Whether you’re a preschool that needs an American Red Cross Pediatric First Aid CPR AED certification class or a dental office that needs a BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR certification, we will make sure you get the correct First Aid and CPR certification for your industry.

Q: I understand First Aid training for a certification in Saratoga has to cover required topics. But can your instructor cover First Aid topics that might not be part of the course?

A: When we instruct an ASHI, Red Cross or American Heart Association certification course, we are required to instruct the course according to the guidelines of those organizations. However, our approach to First Aid training and CPR training in Saratoga is to be very interactive with our students. We encourage our students to ask questions and if you ask about a topic not covered in your course, we are happy to cover it. Also, because we are EMTs, RNs and Paramedics we can give you a depth of understanding on any topic that goes beyond the First Aid training and CPR training of your certification course.

My family had the pleasure of having Chris teach us a class that, in my opinion, is not an option if you choose to have children – it’s mandatory.

Lori Costabile

I recently completed a CPR class with Chris, and I urge anyone who is interested in taking a CPR class to take Chris’ class; you’ll be happy you did. Chris is a natural teacher, and he has an easy going and very likable personality.
