Schedule A CPR, First Aid or BLS Certification Class At Your San Leandro Business Or Home

In Home CPR is available seven days a week, including evenings to come to your San Leandro business or home.

We offer Red Cross, American Heart Association and ASHI First Aid, CPR and BLS certification classes – as well as pediatric-focus classes for new and expecting parents.

CPR Essentials

The San Leandro CPR Essentials Class is a non-certification pediatric-focused class for all members of your family. There is no minimum number of people needed to schedule a class with us. You will learn infant CPR and responding to airway emergencies such as choking, seizures, drowning, and allergic reactions.

CPR AED Class

San Leandro CPR AED classes are a two-year ASHI certification course taught at your business or home. A portion of the class can be done online ahead of time, followed by a short skills practice session with our instructor. All of our instructors are EMTs, Paramedics and RNs who take pride in the quality of their classes.

BLS for Healthcare Providers

San Leandro BLS Classes are the required CPR certification for people who work in healthcare and for healthcare students. If you are recertifying, consider doing most of the BLS course online ahead of time, followed by a skills session with our instructor – the hands-on practice portion of the course.

First Aid Class

We offer ASHI First Aid certifications that are valid for two years and fulfill OSHA requirements. San Leandro First Aid certifications can be paired with CPR training.

First Aid CPR AED Classes

First Aid CPR AED certifications classes for San Leandro cover many topics! First Aid training includes bleeding, burns, heart attack, stroke, fainting, allergic reactions, Epi-Pen use, seizures.

Pediatric First Aid AED CPR Class

Red Cross San Leandro pediatric first aid CPR AED certification classes meet the EMSA’s requirements for childcare teachers in California. Choking, allergic reactions, epi-pen use, concussions, seizures and many other topics are covered in this Red Cross certification course.

ACLS Class

American Heart Association ACLS certification classes in San Leandro can be scheduled with us seven days a week. Blended learning approaches – most of the ACLS certification course online, followed by a “skills session” with our instructor is a great approach for ACLS recertification.

Frequently Asked Questions About San Leandro CPR Classes

Q: You teach CPR classes at San Leandro businesses and homes? How does this work?

A: In Home CPR was started with the idea of making it easier to take a CPR class. We bring all of the training and audio/visual equipment – you just need to provide a space for our class. We have several mobile instructors, so when you have a couple dates and start times in mind for your San Leandro First Aid, CPR, ACLS or BLS certification class, let us know, and we will find a day and start times that works for both of us.

Q: What are the qualifications of the instructors who will be coming to my San Leandro home or business for my CPR class?

A: All of our instructors are medical professionals. Most have worked professionally in ambulances as EMTs and Paramedics. We also have RNs. All of them take pride in the quality of their San Leandro First Aid, CPR and BLS classes. Our classes are interactive and questions are encouraged, so ask our instructors to give you extra knowledge on the First Aid and CPR topics most important to you.

Q: Do you teach First Aid Training in San Leandro?

A: Yes, we offer American Red Cross First Aid and ASHI certification classes in San Leandro. People know they should take a CPR class, but first aid training is often overlooked. Eventually, all of us either experience or respond to bleeding, burns, falls and broken bones. It’s good to know how to properly respond when a loved one needs your help or you need to help yourself.

Q: Do you instruct the American Heart Association’s BLS certification class in San Leandro?

A: Yes, the AHA’s BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification is often the required CPR certification if you work in a clinic or hospital. If you are a student in healthcare, you are also required to have a BLS certification.

Q: I want to take an infant CPR class with my entire family at my home in San Leandro. Is that possible?

A: Yes, that’s what we specialize in! Everyone who will be caring for your baby can train together to respond to the most common pediatric medical emergencies: choking, drowning, suffocation, allergic reactions, seizures and many more topics.

Q: It looks like the Pediatric First Aid class is for childcare professionals in San Leandro. Can a parent take it?

A: Anybody can take the American Red Cross Pediatric First Aid CPR AED certification class. It’s a very extensive class and you will gain a real depth of understanding of how to recognize and respond to all the major pediatric medical emergencies. We also offer shorter non-certification pediatric focused First Aid and CPR classes in San Leandro for new and expecting parents.

Q: I want to learn how to use an AED and it looks like I can buy one through In Home CPR. Is that true?

A: Yes, we have a relationship with an AED wholesalers and purchase AEDs for our San Leandro CPR class clients. Our instructors will show you how to use an AED while doing CPR during your class.

Q: I want to get CPR certified, but I heard there is a written test. Is that true?

A: There is no written test to get CPR certified in San Leandro. ASHI and American Red Cross CPR certification courses focus on understanding skills via a DVD and the instructor, along with plenty of hands-on practice.

Q: I understand First Aid training for a certification in San Leandro has to cover required topics. But can your instructor cover First Aid topics that might not be part of the course?

A: When we instruct an ASHI, Red Cross or American Heart Association certification course, we are required to instruct the course according to the guidelines of those organizations. However, our approach to First Aid training and CPR training in San Leandro is to be very interactive with our students. We encourage our students to ask questions and if you ask about a topic not covered in your course, we are happy to cover it. Also, because we are EMTs, RNs and Paramedics we can give you a depth of understanding on any topic that goes beyond the First Aid training and CPR training of your certification course.

My family had the pleasure of having Chris teach us a class that, in my opinion, is not an option if you choose to have children – it’s mandatory.

I recently completed a CPR class with Chris, and I urge anyone who is interested in taking a CPR class to take Chris’ class; you’ll be happy you did. Chris is a natural teacher, and he has an easy going and very likable personality.
