A group of my teachers recently completed our pediatric training with In Home CPR. Our company has worked with them before and we were happy to learn that they were available for our training date. Forrest was our trainer again and he provided the necessary information in a way that was easy for everyone to follow and understand while also keeping the group engaged- not too easy on a Saturday morning! The owner, Chris, also happened to be in town and although he stopped by for something unrelated, he ended up staying for a while and even stepped in to assist with partner sessions and demonstrations! They both listened to the real life situations that my teachers have experienced and used them to provided valuable feedback and guidance.
While important to have, my team is never excited when it's time to renew their CPR training. It's really nice to work with a company that can provide what we need in a way that doesn't make it feel like a chore. I've sat through 8 hour sessions that were impersonal and left me feeling like I walked away with only the basics. Forrest and Chris gave extra insight and information that was relatable and got everyone excited to brush up on skills we hope we never have to use.

We had a great experience with In Home CPR in our construction company's home office last week. We scheduled the class for CPR and First Aid certification for 15 employees. I had never done it before and wasn't sure what to expect but imagined it would be somewhat long and boring. It was really interesting and I think everyone really enjoyed it! Chris was really cool, easy to listen to and interesting to talk to. It was very cool to hear all of this information from someone's personal experience in the first responder world. I would definitely recommend In Home CPR. 
Our company scheduled this training for us, and In Home CPR came to our office. Jason J, our instructor was very knowledgeable and managed to make our 5 hour training feel like a breeze! I know a lot of my coworkers were dreading the 5 hour long course, but it was very engaging and entertaining! I like how he made it very hands on and creative with the activities. Jason explained everything very thoroughly and made sure to let everyone know that he was there to answer any questions we had. He made the class fun and I was very impressed how much he covered for our CPR course. Although our CPR was mainly focused on adult CPR I am very interested in taking a course for child CPR. If you are looking for a great instructor, look no further! 
Our Preschool recently used our staff development day to renew our CPR & First Aid Training. Chris came to out to our school which made it very convienient for everyone. His presentation was engaging and informative.It was an excellent experience. We plan to be return customers when it's time to renew again.

The whole process was seamless from scheduling to the training. Raleigh helped us with scheduling and got back to us immediately, and Jason was our onsite trainer. Knowledgeable, thorough, helpful, and very passionate about what he does! All of the staff, our Doctor and his wife got a lot out of the course. Great Company!!!!

Our pediatric First Aid & CPR is a non-certification class for new and expecting parents and their family members. The content of the class will be adjusted to the age of your newborn, infant, toddler or child.

Infant First Aid & CPR Class Agenda
This is a non-certification pediatric class that can be customized to your family’s needs. If you have a newborn or a toddler, we will adjust the content appropriately. The focus of our class is:
- Assessment. When should I call 911?
- CPR
- Airway issues: choking, seizures, allergic reactions, drowning
- Trauma: Falls, burns, bleeding
- Infant safety and prevention
My Child is Now a Toddler. Can The Class be Adjusted to Their Age?
Yes, our instructor will focus on the pediatric first aid course topics most relevant for the age of your child, including preventive safety topics like kitchens, high chairs and changing tables. We can also cover pediatric CPR for over 1 year old and AED use.
What is the Class Length?
The class calculators at the top of this page can be used to determine the length of your class. Classes typically run from 2 hours to 2.5 hours depending on the number of people attending, but this can be adjusted if needed.
Is This a Certification Class?
It is not. This is a non-certification pediatric First Aid & CPR class customized to the age of your child. If you need a First Aid and/or CPR AED certification please let us know. We offer American Heart Association, ASHI and Red Cross certifications.
Do You Have a CPR Instructor Near Me?
We have instructors located all over the San Francisco Bay, Sacramento, San Joaquin County, and Stanislaus County. They are all medical professionals — most are either EMTs, Paramedics or RNs — who take pride in the quality of their classes. Our instructors will come with CPR manikins that give you electronic feedback on the quality of your CPR. They can also bring practice epi-pens and AEDs.
Is There a Minimum Number of People Needed to Schedule a Class?
There is no minimum number of people needed to schedule your pediatric First Aid & CPR course with us. We can also handle very large classes and will send additional instructors. You only need to provide a space for our class.
