American Heart Association Certification Courses

In Home CPR travels throughout the San Francisco Bay Area to instruct the following AHA certification courses at your home or business:

CPR and AED, BLS Provider, BLS Skills Session, First Aid, First Aid with CPR and AED, Pediatric First Aid with CPR and AED, ACLS Initial, ACLS Renewal, Bloodborne Pathogens

The quoted prices are for courses within roughly 40 miles from Redwood City, CA. Courses more than 40 miles from Redwood City have a small driving fee added.

All certifications are good for two years.  Certification cards can be given to you at the end of the class if arranged in advance.


CPR and AED
(AHA name: Heartsaver CPR AED)

This class includes adult, child and infant CPR and use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). Breathing emergencies, such as choking, are also covered. You can choose to exclude the infant portion of CPR.

Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider

The required CPR certification for healthcare workers and students: Nurses, Nursing Assistants, Dentists, Dental Assistants, Respiratory Therapists, EMTs, Physical and Occupational Therapists.

Pediatric First Aid with CPR and AED

Designed to meet the specific needs of child daycare providers. Includes pediatric first aid basics, medical emergencies, injury emergencies, environmental injuries and asthma care training. Adult and child CPR/AED are covered. Infant CPR can be included, too.

Bloodborne Pathogens
(AHA name: Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens)

This course is designed to meet Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements for bloodborne pathogens (BBP) training when paired with site-specific instruction.  This course takes approximately 1 hour.
