American Heart Association & American Red Cross Certification Courses

In Home CPR travels throughout the San Francisco Bay Area to instruct the following American Heart Association (AHA) and American Red Cross certification courses at your home or business:

CPR AED, CPR AED Skills Session, BLS Provider, BLS Skills Session, First Aid, First Aid CPR AED, First Aid CPR AED Skills Session, Pediatric First Aid CPR AED, ACLS Initial, ACLS Renewal, ACLS Skills Session, Bloodborne Pathogens

All certifications are good for two years.  Certification cards can be given to you at the end of the class if arranged in advance.


CPR AED – Red Cross

This class includes infant, child and adult CPR and use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). Breathing emergencies, such as choking, are also covered. You can choose to exclude the infant portion of CPR.

CPR AED Skills Session – Red Cross

The “blended learning” approach to the CPR AED course: students complete most of the course online, then our instructor comes to you for a “skills session”.  The skills session is the hands-on portion of the course: practicing with the CPR manikins and AED trainers.

Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider – AHA

The required CPR certification for healthcare workers and students: Nurses, Nursing Assistants, Dentists, Dental Assistants, Respiratory Therapists, EMTs, Physical and Occupational Therapists.

Pediatric First Aid CPR AED – Red Cross

Designed to meet the specific needs of child daycare providers. Includes pediatric first aid basics, medical emergencies, injury emergencies, environmental injuries and asthma care training. Infant, child and adult CPR are covered as well as use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator.)

Bloodborne Pathogens
(AHA name: Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens)

This course is designed to meet Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements for bloodborne pathogens (BBP) training when paired with site-specific instruction.  This course takes approximately 1 hour.
